•2023 SEA Games: Samnang represented Cambodia in the 2023 Southeast Asian Games, serving as the flag bearer during the opening ceremony. Competing in the men’s 81kg Kun Khmer division, he clinched the gold medal by defeating Myanmar’s Tun Tun Min.
